“Delicious food and great service”

Reviewed 10 Nov 2015 (Manawatu)

This is the second year in a row I have attended a weekend conference here and I loved every minute of my stay. The rooms were spacious so having to share with a colleague was fine and though the bathroom was a little tired looking it did what it needed to do and everywhere was clean. The staff throughout were polite and happy to help and the food delicious. Very happy overall.

“Amazing time spent here”

Reviewed 28 September 2015

Lovely welcoming smiles come first here, gentle music plays in the background and is always delightfully warm and dry. Bar staff very attractive and the meals were delicious. The pool area was well kept and has next to no wind yet being in the heated pool in the open is great to stay in while raining
5/5 easy

Room Tip: The bottom floors are all very much assesable as well as the pool having easy entry

“A friendly and very clean place to stay”

Reviewed 22 September 2015 (Nelson)

I have stayed many times at this hotel for Conferences and the quality has not changed. The rooms are large with good facilities and toiletries. Comfortable beds, warm and well serviced. The staff are pleasant, friendly and helpful. The meals that are put on for the conferences are always excellent, great variety and well presented. The a la carte is also good value. Being near the airport means short trips on the shuttle to and fro.

Room Tip: There are only two floors and I have found all rooms to be quiet.

“Very handy for travellers”

Reviewed 02 Sept 2015 (Masterton)

For travellers wanting to find a convenient hotel close to Wellington Airport and somewhere to park their car while away this is definitely the hotel to go to. We stayed one night before an early flight overseas. The staff were very helpful when checking in, the room was clean and tidy and a good size, the van transfer to the airport was efficient and extremely useful and staff were wonderful when we returned. Parking is free for seven days and a reasonable charges for any more days. Would certainly use them again if we are going away.

"The blessing we needed"

Reviewed 24 August 2015

After a whirlwind holiday around lower north island we needed a place to rest before our flight the next day . We arrived and checked in early which was not a problem. Needed more towels and they arrived in a minute. Needed a drink and Murdoch in the bar was a legend and good humor ! Got lost and Rachel in conference department helped find me back on track + encouraged us to try their restaurant which was amazing quality and best value by far for wine and food over our holiday so thank you Rachel you're lovely and could sell ice to eskimos , come to Australia and work for me!!!! Brian duty manager was an absolute pleasure and is so proud of this hotel it warms the heart ! Lovely soft beds and warm rooms . A great stay indeed and a great way to leave the country! Thanks again

“Wish we'd found it sooner ”

Reviewed 24 July 2015 (Palmerston North, New Zealand)

Stayed here for one night before flying out for a 2 week holiday. Booked a room for the four of us and it was clean, warm and comfortable. The car parking (7 days free and $5 a day after that) and airport shuttle service is such a godsend. When we arrived back after our holiday I booked another stay for later in the year.

“Comfy and handy to airport”

Reviewed 15 July 2015

As to be expected for the price, it's exactly what you want when you have an early international flight! Staff are friendly and cheerful, rooms are an adequate size, comfy beds etc.

I've stayed here twice now - once with my father en-route to Brisbane (Jan 2014), where a request for a ground level accessible unit was not a problem. My other stay was by myself en route to Sydney (May 2015).

Airport shuttle was free and the drivers are really lovely, despite ridiculously early work shifts!I love the fact there is up to 7 days free parking too.

Will continue to use the Brentwood when travelling via Wellington Airport.

“Better than expected, excellent restaurant”

Reviewed 26 May 2015 (Masterton)

This is a very traditional New Zealand style hotel, very homely and pleasant. It has been improved and modernised in recent times, rooms are large and very adequate to provide overnight accommodation close to the airport, which is why most people stay there. Frequent shuttle service to airport 5 minutes away. Restaurant meal was excellent.

“As a confrence venue”

Reviewed 18 May 2015 (Wellington)

We have just completed a two day conference with just over 60 participants. The large room and its facilities were very good. There were adequate rooms for those who had to overnight and the meals catered for all tastes and requirements. Service over all was excellent and the staff made the two days very productive.his hotel has been around for a long time but it has and continues to be upgraded. It is handy to the airport and while a little out of town taxi services and buses are available. The walk to the city from the hotel on a fine day around the bays is very pleasant.

“Lovely hotel”

We were so pleased with this hotel, it ticked all the boxes. Beautiful room, 5 mins from the airport and the hotel run a free shuttle to the airport. It was near to the shops, supermarkets and cafe,s and restaurants, also on a bus route into Wellington town centre. Would definately stay there again.

Can leave the car there while away for few days for free and very cheap rates thereafter. Excellent 24 hour shuttle service to and from the airport....will be staying here again if the need arises and will recommend to friends.

“Happy Reunion”

Reviewed 25 March 2015 (Owen W New Plymouth, New Zealan)

Recently spent a very enjoyable weekend at a Reunion centred around the Brentwood Hotel in Kilbirnie, Wellington NZ. Time spent with friends who meet every 2 years since 1951 when we attended an International Scout Jamboree in Austria and an International Patrol Camp at the Festival of Britain.
The hotel provided for ours needs as some of the folk attending require easy access etc.
The hospitality, the food great and the rooms were great. the rooms were slightly larger than one is normally used to. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff.
Hotel is in a quiet street off the main bus route. There are several bus routes into the city centre with buses running regularly.
Hotel provides a pick-up service to / from the airport nearby.
Thank-you Brentwood for making our weekend a success.

“Great place to stay”

Reviewed 1 March 2015 (Parkesychch)

I visited Wellington for a friends party and booked in at the Brentwood Hotel using Right from the beginning the hotel service was fantastic and friendly. The free airport shuttle was great for getting to and from the airport. The staff were all very friendly and happy to give tourist and local advice. The pool was one of the best hotel pools I've seen and we visit a lot of upmarket hotels, Arguably the rooms are slightly dated but they are spacious, very clean, great linen and have comfortable beds. Room service was also great. This hotel well and truly exceeded my expectations and definitely plan to visit again.

“Good, clean and quiet”

Reviewed 17 January 2015 (Verbs77 Napier, New Zealand)

We found our stay at Brentwood to be very pleasant. The staff were helpful, the room lovely and clean and the facilities great. It was nice and quiet when we were there although it might not always be as a lot of sporting team use the hotel due to it's prime location. Their free 24 hour shuttle service to and from the airport was excellent and was one of the key reasons we chose to stay here.
